XLNT Workplace ranked as one of Europe's fastest growing companies by Financial Times

A coffee cup and newspapers with hints of colors the sun rises over the city that looks like New York

The Financial Times ranks Europe's 1000 fastest growing companies annually in a list called FT 1000, and also in 2023's list XLNT Workplace (formerly NRSE) is one of Europe's fastest growing company.

Last year, it was the sixth edition of the list of the 1000 companies in Europe that reached the criteria and stood out among the others resulting in the last list, FT 1000 2023. For the previous year we have not taken part in the ranking yet, it is of minor importance, but the fact that we are once again among the fastest growing companies in Europe we think is really funny. As we really try to be a contender and push not only our industry, but also the development in general when it comes to sustainability and modernisation, whether in terms of new innovations or better ways of doing things, the mention feels like a confirmation that we are on the right track.

To qualify for the list, there are a couple of criteria that must be achieved:

  • At least €100,000 in turnover in 2017
  • At least €150,000 in turnover in 2020
  • An independent company, i.e. not a subsidiary or the like.
  • Revenue growth between 2017 and 2020 was primarily organic.
  • If the company had been listed on the stock exchange, the stock has not fallen below 50% since 2019

Calculation of growth

The calculation of companies' growth rates was based on the turnover reported by companies in their respective national currencies. For better reliability in the rankings, the turnover was converted to euros. The average exchange rate for the financial year indicated by the company was used for this purpose.

The annual growth rate (Compounded Annual Growth Rate = CAGR) was calculated as follows: ((revenue-2020/ revenue-2017) ^ (1/3)) - 1 = CAGR

The absolute growth between 2017 and 2020 was calculated as follows:

(revenue2020/ revenue2017) - 1 = Growth rate

Evaluation and quality assurance

All data reported by the companies was processed and checked by Statista. Missing data (number of employees, address data etc) were examined in detail. Companies that did not meet the criteria for inclusion in the rankings were deleted. The minimum average growth rate required to feature in the rankings this year was 36.5 per cent.
